I have been honing my teaching skills through various subjects including cycling, alpine and nordic skiing and sailboarding for many years. I now enjoy sharing furniture making skills through teaching. I am committed to passing these skills on to future generations so that they can enjoy fine craftsmanship. There are no secrets here, just information to share and skills to learn. Classes are taught in same studio that I use to create my furniture. It is located in Traverse City, a beautiful small town in Northern Michigan that is surrounded by Lake Michigan, many small inland lakes, wineries and beautiful countryside that is perfect for outdoor activities. The studio is small yet very well equipped and makes for a nice intimate learning environment. There are a maximum of six students per class to allow for easy learning and more direct contact with the teacher.
